Background
Arlene May Langston is the President of A&D Cares Fiduciary Services. She is a practicing CPA, a Certified Internal Auditor, and holds a Master's of Science degree in Technology Management. Arlene has served as a Controller and Senior Audit Manager within the defense industry.
Don Langston is the Vice-President of A&D Cares Fiduciary Services and has worked previously for high-technical organizations, including EG&G, Energy Measurements, and Computer Sciences Corporation, in Management and Financial support functions.
Don and Arlene have been blessed with 5 children and 4 grandchildren. They live in Carlsbad, California.
History
Arlene Langston and husband Don co-founded A&D Cares Fiduciary Services in March 2011. Arlene has been providing Tax and Accounting services in the San Diego area since 1988. She and her husband became aware of the need for life management services through their own experiences caring for aging family members and partnering with the local senior community in Carlsbad, California as part of the music ministry of their church.
Through the simple act of performing and sharing songs (hymns), it became immediately apparent that music was a bridge to sharing love and joy with the senior community (many studies have documented the benefits of music for elders). Don and Arlene hold regular outreach events, and their passion has led to better understanding of the need to provide support to both the geriatric community and to special needs citizens.
